About

Colin Zaccagnio

I've learned that the agents who actually win for their clients are the ones who do the homework nobody sees: the data, the comps, the fine print in the contract. That's the whole job, as far as I'm concerned.

How I got here

I'm part of The Estate Team at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, working the Phoenix metro primarily as a buyer's agent, alongside listing work for sellers who want a strategy built to close, not just a sign in the yard. About 30 deals over the last five years, and 2026 has already outpaced all of 2025.

Almost none of that came from advertising. My business runs on referrals, mostly from people I already know: past clients, my high school network, and a lot of families from the soccer club I run. I take that seriously.

How I work

I lean on market data and AI tools to find leverage: undervalued properties, real investment and flip potential, and the negotiating position that comes from knowing more than the other side of the table. I'd call myself a bit contrarian. I'd rather be right than agreeable, and I test well for it, I scored in the 96th percentile on a recent IQ test's listening and recall section, which is more or less my whole approach to a negotiation in one data point.

I founded Thunderbird Football Club in 2018.

It's a family-run nonprofit soccer club, and I still handle most of the back office today: scheduling, finances, sponsors, coach coordination, the whole operation. It's the same instinct that drives my client relationships. Build something real, show up consistently, and measure success by whether people are actually better off.
